To: University of Michigan - Main Campus
Program: Biology
The biology program is for students who wish to study biology as part of a liberal education, to prepare for a secondary school teaching career, or to prepare for graduate study or medical school.
Admission Criteria
- GPA – 3.3 plus strong high school record if transferring as a sophomore (25-54 credits), 3.0 if transferring as a junior (55 + transferable credits).
- Transfer Credits – U of M accepts a maximum of 60 semester credits (62 with Associate degree) Since all students must earn at least 60 of the 120 credits required for the degree on the Ann Arbor campus, students with 75 or more credits are discouraged from applying to the College of Literature, Science, & Arts.
