About the NMC Foundation

The Northwestern Michigan College (NMC) Foundation was founded in 1981 as a 501 (c)(3) non profit corporation. Donors - individuals, businesses and foundations - make contributions to the NMC Foundation in support of:

Excellence - Financial support ensures the variety and quality of educational and cultural programs and services for all learners
Scholarships - Scholarships are made available to learners of all ages and circumstances based upon financial need and in recognition of academic excellence
Capital Projects - These contributions help NMC to build or renovate facilities, purchase instructional equipment and enhance NMC grounds
Faculty/Staff Enrichment - support enhances professional development activities for faculty and staff to help them become ever more effective educators and leaders
