Applying to NMC: New & Transfer Students
You may apply to NMC several different ways:
- Apply online paying application fee with credit card
- Print application off web and send to the Admissions Office with a $20.00 application fee
- Call the Admissions Office at 231.995.1054 and request an application to be sent to you to complete and return with a $20.00 application fee
- You may also fax the application to 231.995.1339 and send the $20.00 application fee in the mail
The $20.00 application fee is a one-time payment and is non-refundable.
Transcript Requirements
Official transcripts of accredited college work are required for:
- Any Health Occupations programs
- Maritime programs
- Financial Aid or Veterans Benefits
Transcript Requirements for New and Transfer Students:
- If you are under 21 and have fewer than 20 college credits, you will need to have a copy of both your high school and college transcripts sent directly to NMC from the schools.
- If you are under 21 and have more than 20 college credits, you will need to have a copy of just your college transcripts sent directly to NMC from the school.
- If you are under 21, please contact your high school and have them forward an official transcript directly to NMC's Admissions Office.
- If you are over 21, transcripts are not required for admission purposes.
You may have your ACT scores sent to NMC, but we do not require this test. Please see Orientation and Testing.
