How to apply for federal direct student loans
- Go to https://studentloans.gov
- You must sign-in using your Fed PIN Number you used to sign your FAFSA
- Select "Complete Entrance Counseling"
- Select "Complete Master Promissory Note," then select "Subsidized/Unsubsidized"
- A new MPN must be completed each academic year.

Parent Loan For Undergraduate Student (PLUS)
How to apply for Federal Direct Parent PLUS Loans
- Fill out a 2010-11 PLUS loan request (PDF) and return it to the Financial Aid Office
- Complete the Master Promissory Note (MPN)
- To complete the MPN:
1. Visit: https://studentloans.gov
2. Sign-In using your Fed PIN Number you used to sign your FAFSA
3. Select "Complete Master Promissory Note," then select "Parent PLUS"
- To complete the MPN:
- A new MPN must be completed each academic year.
