Business offers programs designed to prepare students for immediate employment. All programs contain a blend of specialized classes and liberal arts studies to prepare students for today’s competitive, complex and changing business world.

Students who wish to enter the job market upon graduation from NMC generally earn an Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degree or a Certificate of Achievement. Business students who plan to transfer to four-year institutions to pursue a bachelor’s degree should refer to the degree requirements for the Associate in Science and Arts (ASA) degree. During their first semester at NMC, all students should consult a counselor or academic advisor for scheduling assistance.
