- Current executive chef of Lobdell's Training Restaurant in the Great Lakes Culinary Institute.
Originally from the metro Detroit area, I left a teaching position in the Detroit Public Schools to relocate in northwest Michigan. My desire to teach the culinary arts led me to Northwestern Michigan College where I began as an adjunct instructor in the fall of 2000.
When I'm not teaching or cooking professionally, I enjoy cooking with family and friends, fishing, hunting, camping, biking and billiards. I am happily married and enjoy raising our two daughters and training our dog, Olive.
I look forward to personal and professional growth as an instructor here at NMC in the Great Lakes Culinary Institute.
