"I am here as a fellow traveler and we will learn together. I may have something I can share with you that you don't know but, likewise, you have things to share that can educate me, too." This is my philosophy in the classroom and in the education field in general.

I started my educational journey at Western Michigan University in secondary education with a major in mathematics and a chemistry minor. I received an MBA from Lake State Superior University. I have taught all grade levels except kindergarten.

I teach a wide variety of computer courses here at NMC and many different operating systems. My expertise lies with microcomputer software, the iSeries Server, and networking systems. I also do training seminars for local businesses through MTec (Michigan Technical Education Center).

My husband and I have lived in the Traverse City area for over 30 years. We have two grown children and five grandchildren. We enjoy spoiling the grandkids, boating, and working on our home.
