For specific curriculum/instructional development projects, use the CIE Curriculum/ Instructional Development Funding Request form (located at Shared/CIE/Public/$Cur_DEV.REQ).
- The Academic Chair endorses the activity in writing, noting the subject area(s), number of students and faculty impacted, etc.
- The academic area deems the activity important enough to partially fund with money from its own professional development funds or the faculty bonus fund.
- The faculty member agrees to give a short, written (electronically submitted) report on the activity to CIE upon completion for distribution to interested colleagues and for possible publication in the CIE NEWSletter.
Should funds become limited due to higher than expected numbers of requests, the Board may limit funds awarded to academic areas that have received previous grants.
