Data is collected for this page on a nightly basis. If registration is available for the next semester, the page will compare statistics for next semester to those for last year. If registration is not yet available for next semester, then it will compare statistics for the current semester to those for last year. As-of Dates: Data for the next (or current) semester is computed as-of the current/system date. To arrive at a comparable date for previous years, the Dashboard can either be set up to use the exact same day (e.g. 01-Aug-2001 compared to 01-Aug-2000) or it can be set up to use an offset calculation. With the offset calculation, the current date is subtracted from the next (or current) semester's start date, giving the number of offset days. An offset of 30 means it's 30 days before the start of the semester. An offset of -2 means it's 2 days after the semester started. These offset days are then added to last year's semester start date, giving a comparable as-of date. Admission Applications - Counts all academic applications received on or before the as-of date specified, for the specified semester. Applications are date-stamped when received, and they're recorded in the system with that date. During busy periods, however, there may be a delay between when an application is received and when it is entered into the system. Therefore, when this program is run near the end of the month, it may not include all applications for that month yet. Financial Aid Applicants - Counts all people who applied for financial aid for the academic year, on or before the as-of date Aid Applications from Admits - Counts all people who have applied for financial aid for the academic year, on or before the as-of date, and have been admitted to NMC. Financial Aid Recipients - All people who have received at least one financial aid award letter for the academic year, on or before the as-of date. Registration Headcount - All students registered for at least one academic course, for the specified semester, on the as-of date. Registration Credit Hours - The total number of academic credit hours students were registered for on the as-of date for the semester. Registration Billing Hours - The total number of hours students were charged for on the as-of date. Assessed Tuition and Fees - The sum of the academic tuition and fee charges in the Accounts Receivable table for all students registered for academic class(es) on the as-of date. |
