Network Support

Information Technology Services provides network support for all of NMC's campuses, including main campus, MTec, University Center, and West Bay, as well as the 16 high schools involved in Project Interconnect. Main campus serves as the "hub" for data distribution. The buildings on main campus are connected by fiber optic cable that is used for data and video signals. We have fiber optic connections to the University Center and MTec campus that are also used for data and video.  The current routers support 1 gig speeds between on campus buildings.

 

Internet Service is provided by Merit Network.
