ACT Test Preparation
for High School Students

One of the most important factors influencing your future career could be the acceptance to the College or University of your choice. Scoring well on the ACT is an important part of this process since many colleges and universities use the scores from the ACT as part of their acceptance criterion. Test preparation courses help to familiarize students with the test, build confidence, and reduce test anxiety.

The Diagnostic Course includes the basic course but goes a step further by providing students with an opportunity to take an official retired ACT test as a full length pre-test. Test results are then analyzed with a computer printout highlighting the composite score, percentile ranking, a summary of English, mathematics, reading, science, along with an individual breakdown of category scores in each area. These results are provided prior to the next class. Students then tailor their studies to specific areas for improvement.

The Basic Course provides ample test taking practice with two full length practice tests. Learn test taking strategies, analyze sample questions to learn question types, then work on methods to increase quickness and concentration. Content includes the four primary areas of the test; science, math, reading, and English. The course will be completed just in time for the test.

Registration for these courses does not include the test.
