Introduction to Digital Photography
Digital cameras are easy to use and affordable. Get
hands-on experience using a digital camera (for still pictures, not video).
You may register for either module, or enroll in both and save $7.
Module 1: The Digital Camera
Whether you are thinking of purchasing a digital camera
or already own one, you’ll learn to use key camera features, transfer
images to your computer, and format pictures for use. Organize your photos in
the camera and on the computer so you can retrieve them easily. You’ll
use a variety of cameras and accessories, review buying guides, and check out
online resources. Basic computer experience required.

Module 2: Printing/Output/Scanning
Learn to use your printer effectively and discover
the advantages of long lasting inks, different papers, and refillable cartridges.
Learn how to place your image into a word document or make a newsletter or greeting
card. Learn to scan images and text and use the basic operations of a scanner
including resolutions, sizing, and output.
