Learn the tips and techniques of working with tables and how they are a powerful design tool. Insert links and images in a table, set background colors, and create nested tables. Learn the basics of Cascading Style Sheets, a powerful tool to make editing multiple web pages more manageable. Prerequisite is Designing Web Pages Using HTML – Level I.

Using HTML with XML Data System – Level III
Now that you have learned the basics of HTML, learn how to really take control of your web page! Previously learned techniques such as styles, table frames, adding images, and creating links are designed to display data and focus on how it looks. In this next step, you’ll learn to add data to the web page using XML to tell the computer what data entered actually means. Understand how it makes it very easy to use the same data on several different platforms. Learn how to create a web page that can be easily updated and modified. Prerequisite: HTML I & II or Dreamweaver I & II.

You’ve worked hard to learn HTML, Dreamweaver, or Publisher to create webpages and now are ready to “go live” on the Internet. We’ll discuss and analyze the various webpage posting options available and the decisions you will need to make your webpage work for you.
