Skilled plumbers must knowledgeably use
specialized tools, read blueprints, work with various types of fittings and
pipe, and size piping for waste water, supply, drainage, and venting. Being
versatile opens a wide range of employment opportunities.
The Plumbing Certificate Program consists
of three levels (5 courses). Plumbing Level 1 is the entry level course for
the Certificate Program.
The advanced plumbing certificate can be
obtained by taking an additional (2 courses) that are listed as electives.
The curriculum is designed by the industry
and aligned with national competency standards.
