Builder’s License Preparation
As of June 1, 2008, builders and contractors are required by the state to complete 60 hours of state approved education and pass a state exam in order to obtain a builder’s license. Get up-to-date information to enhance your career while fulfilling state requirements and preparing to successfully complete both parts of the exam.
The format lets you complete the coursework quickly by attending classes two evenings and Saturdays for 4 weeks.
Content includes:
- the business of building;
- profitable green building;
- contracts, liabilities, and insurance;
- asbestos abatement;
- project management;
- residential code review;
- marketing your contracting business;
- construction safety standards;
- and an overview of building trades.
The cost includes the current code book, Carpentry and Building Construction text, and course materials.
