Your mind is a dynamic, constantly reorganizing, unlimited system. Research continues to provide new insights into how the brain works, changes, and develops over a life time—insights that can impact your well-being. Mind and Memory is a 5-week program designed to engage you (and your brain) in learning and implementing healthy brain strategies that may help to prevent or delay cognitive decline. Each session is packed with information and interaction and includes a featured speaker who explores one of the pillars of brain health—fitness, brain food, mental workouts, and restoration. Guest speakers include Dr. John Schneider, Laura McCain, Todd Nienhouse, Dr. Sarah VonderHoff, and Libby Robold. Each workshop includes activities from other core areas creating a holistic learning experience. As a participant, you will be asked to implement strategies during the week.
