Gentle Yoga
Find out why so many have found that yoga improves flexibility, strength, posture, and balance, and provides a sense of physical and spiritual wellness. Yoga is an ancient form of therapeutic movement, and Gentle Yoga is designed for people of any level of physical ability who prefer a more mindful, gentle practice. Forever Fit—Designed for 50+
Enjoy a lively morning get-moving experience designed to provide a well-balanced fitness workout in the NMC gym. The more you participate, the more you benefit. Fitness Sampler days include a guided process for stretching, flexibility, strengthening, and aerobic conditioning. Gentle Pilates provides core strengthening and flexibility especially critical as the body adds decades. The Exercise Ball provides a great workout focusing on strength and balance. Register for 2, 3, or all 5 days.

This class is open to anyone who is also enrolled in Forever Fit. Core strength and flexibility are essential to maintaining good health and movement over the lifespan. Designed for age 50+.

Find Your Balance
Improving balance is critical to staying healthy and preventing falls and injuries. Through building strength, improving posture, and practicing balance exercises, you can improve your sense of balance and stability, increase mobility, and reduce the risk of injury to joints and bones. You’ll use equipment and exercises that you can continue at home.

This 55-minute workout includes 40 minutes of self-paced moderate to high-intensity low-impact aerobics, total body strengthening, toning, and overall flexibility training. An excellent fitness program for anyone, male or female. Non-swimmers are welcome. Please register by the Wednesday before class begins to allow time for your pool I.D. card to be mailed.
