Are you looking for a new mental challenge? Join in the fun that is sweeping the area. Learn the ancient Chinese game of Mah Jongg—a game of skill coupled with wit and fortune. Examine a brief history of the game and be introduced to the tiles used. Learn the basics of how to use the card and rules set by the National Mah Jongg League. Experience actual playing time to apply what you learn. Mastery of the game takes practice and patience, but your effort will be repaid many times over by the enjoyment derived.

Enjoy four afternoons with friends while expanding your knowledge of Mah Jongg. Review the rules and feel more comfortable with how the game is played. Sharpen your skills in the Charleston with an expert close by to answer questions. Become more confident in your tile selection and what hand to play. Prior experience of Mah Jongg is advisable. Bring your own 2008 card to the first class.

Refresher Bridge
Brush up your skills for this popular card game. If you haven’t played for awhile, this is a good way to get back in the game. Each week you will be playing with pre-set hands as you work with five card major and convenient minor bidding. The class focuses on strengthening communication skills with your bridge partner. The $5 text is available in class from the instructor.
