Copyright Information

Individuals can be held liable for copyright violations. The copyright law (Title 17, United States Code) sets strict limits on the use and copying of copyrighted works, and individuals could be held liable for up to $100,000 per work.

Learning Resources and Technologies personnel will not duplicate or use materials which are known or suspected to violate the copyright law. NMC expects students, faculty, and staff to be familiar with the guidelines and abide by them.
