Conferencing
Video Conferencing
Educational Media Technologies has the capability to provide video conferencing
support for the NMC community. Conferencing is a great way to connect
distant locations together for classes, virtual field trips or
tours, meetings, interviews, and more. Contact

Audio Conferencing
Educational Media Technologies has several audio conferencing systems or speaker
phones. Selection is based on the size of the group or participants and the
type of phone line used (digital or analog). Contact the Technical
Coordinator,
Bob Chauvin, at (231) 995-1078 for assistance in determining what will best
fit your needs.
Web Conferencing
Web conferencing means different things to different people. They can range
from an online PowerPoint presentation with accompanying audio to a two-way
interactive, online discussion. Such an event may require group interaction
using a single computer, therefore requiring projection capabilities. If

Satellite Teleconferencing
Educational Media Technologies has the capability to receive teleconferences
via satellite transmission for faculty, staff, students, and the community.
Teleconferencing can provide curriculum enrichment opportunities, professional
development for faculty and staff, or special seminars and workshops for
college employees and the community.
