Does my online course have an orientation or any other meetings? Where and when?
Some online courses do have face-to-face orientations and may have some required face-to-face class meetings. Required orientations will be listed on the orientation info page. The course catalog section of this website will also list, by course, the required orientations as well as any required face-to- face meetings. If you are not able to locate the orientation information for your course, you can call the NMC Technology Help Desk at 231.995.3020 or submit an electronic helpdesk ticket at https://secure.nmc.edu/gethelp/ to request further information.
When will my eLearning account become available?
Typically, eLearning accounts are made available five days prior to the start of the semester. This will enable you to log in at an orientation session (if your course requires one).
How do I log in to eLearning?
In order to log into eLearning, you will need a username and password, this is the same as your NMCID user name and password. In addition, your account will need to be active. The login page for eLearning is located at http://elearning.nmc.edu
What if I can't log in when I should be able to?
If your account should be active and you can not access eLearning, please contact the NMC Technology Help Desk at 231.995.3020 or submit an electronic helpdesk ticket at https://secure.nmc.edu/gethelp/.
How do I check for email from my instructor?
You can check your NMC student email by going to http://mbx.nmc.edu. You will be prompted for a username and password. Information about the login can be found at the computing services page. You may also find this brief instructional page on using your student email account useful.
