Family, camping, reading, working with teens at church and through girl scouting, gardening.
Background Information in the Field:
- Earned Associate & Bachelor Nursing Degrees from Gwynedd-Mercy College in Gwynedd Valley, Pennsylvania
- Earned a Master of Science in Nursing Degree from NMU with a focus in Administration;
- Began my career as a nurse aid in high school;
- Have been a staff nurse on a surgical unit with an orthopedic, neurosurgical, and trauma focus; on a pediatric unit, a nursery, and an emergency room;
- Have been a staff development instructor;
- Have experience as a unit manager of a surgical unit, as a director over nursing and non-nursing units, and as a nurse surveyor for the American Osteopathic Association.
