The committee reports to the Executive Director of Human Resources. It communicates with the academic areas, individual faculty members, and the Office of Human Resources in recognizing and implementing the points associated with career plan advancement.

Communication Strategy:
Current guidelines are included in each edition of the Faculty Handbook. 2. Determine point equivalencies to be awarded for various professional development activities.
  3. Review the relevance and merit of professional development activity proposals and determine the points to be earned.
  4. Review written reports upon completion of activities, determine if objectives were met, and whether the previously designated points should be awarded.
  5. Communicate guidelines, due dates, and other information as appropriate with administration and faculty.
