Program Goals:

  • To serve as a resource for the academic area

  • To answer questions, resolve problems, & provide information about library & technology resources

  • To obtain faculty help in developing high-quality collections & resources in their subject areas. We do welcome resource/book purchasing recommendations!

  • To provide workshops on research tools and technology or on topics of special interest to faculty (ex: detecting & deterring plagiarism; designing good research assignments; putting course materials online)

  • To work together to create information & technology literate individuals

  • To teach course related sessions that focus on research skills & provide teaching assistance for special technology-based activities

  • To create specialized bibliographies or resources for class support. In order to aid student success, we urge you to contact us when creating an assignment or new curriculum to verify that we either have adequate resources or can purchase appropriate resources.

  • To provide reference & technology assistance with faculty research & development of instructional materials
