TRAVERSE CITY – Lobdell’s, Northwestern Michigan College’s teaching restaurant, opens to the public for spring semester lunches and dinners Feb. 6. At Lobdell’s, diners can enjoy a view of West Bay and a meal prepared and served by students enrolled in NMC’s Great Lakes Culinary Institute.
Lunch is served Tuesdays through Thursdays Feb. 6-April 23. Reservations are available between 11:30-1:30 p.m. each day and are suggested. Lobdell’s will be closed the week of March 31, during NMC’s spring break.
Lobdell’s will also host several special dinner events during the spring semester. All dinner events listed below start at 6 p.m. Prices do not include gratuities or taxes. Reservations are required and a credit card is necessary to guarantee reservations. Call (231) 995-3120 for reservations for both dinners and lunches.
World Cuisine Buffets: $24/person

World Cuisine Plated Dinners: $30/person

CUL 111 Dinners (Introductory Cooking): $28/person
- Thursday, April 17
- Friday, April 18
Cul 111 dinners are five- or six-course meals. Menu is determined 2-3 weeks ahead. Reservations for Cul 111 dinners may be made starting February 4. All other dinners may be reserved immediately.
Lobdell’s is located on the second floor of NMC’s Great Lakes Campus, 715 E. Front St. at Barlow Avenue.
