Osterlin Library summer hours include SaturdaysTRAVERSE CITY, MI – NMC’s Osterlin Library announces that its summer term hours will include Saturdays. Hours through Wednesday, August 13 are as follows:
“We believe summers are a great time for Grand Traverse community to discover NMC’s campus because they’re not competing with students for parking. It’s also a time when the librarians can give more attention to users from the public,” said Mary Beeker, the library’s Electronic Resources Coordinator. Osterlin Library is offering two different levels of free classes this summer, focusing on finding better-quality resources doing research on the Internet. Users will learn how to find free, but “hidden” resources not searched by popular search engines like Google or Yahoo. The two-hour classes are offered at multiple dates and times. “We see this service to public users as a return on the investment the public has made in NMC,” Beeker said.
