The Dennos Museum Center is sponsoring a tour of the Canadian Arctic in August or September 2009 in partnership with Adventure Canada Tours.  Terry Tarnow will present a travelogue on Sunday, June 15, 2008 at 4:00 pm in the Dutmers Theatre. Tarnow has traveled to the Arctic twice with Adventure Canada: “My trips with Adventure Canada were incredible. I met many Inuit Artists and saw so much Canadian wildlife including polar bears, walrus, whales and birds.” The trips include a resource team made up of Inuit artists and scholars, botanists, biologists, photographers, geologists and more. This is more than just a cruise, it is a complete educational experience. For more information on the trip contact Terry Tarnow, (231) 995-1587 or ttarnow@nmc.edu.

The Dennos Museum Center is open daily 10 AM to 5 PM and Sundays 1-5 PM. Admission is $4.00 adults, $2.00 for children and free to museum members.
