NMC Hosts Spring Campus Day

TRAVERSE CITY, MI – The LIFE Academy of Northwestern Michigan College is hosting the annual spring Kaleidoscope Campus Day Wednesday, May 14 from 9:45 a.m.-2:30 p.m. for adults of all ages. An Emerging World is the theme featuring 30+ mind-expanding topics ranging from local and regional issues to technology, wellness, creative arts, and more.

Participants create a day-long learning experience by selecting three sessions from over 30 options presented by local experts including Laura McCain with Cooking for One, Chava Bahle exploring spiritual traditions, Laura Oblinger leading a panel of emerging businesses, Dr. Carrie Mayes and life choices for aging gracefully, and Ken Marek highlighting books by Michigan authors. A sampling of other topics includes energy efficiency, online brain fitness, biking, eBay, internet, wind power, ski walking, reinventing life, Native American art, and more. Cost for the day is $18 plus a lunch option.
