What role could NMC play in helping you address these trends?
Economy |
- Promote information that a career in the construction trades can be highly compensated career. Tell the story of NMC students who build great careers!
- Help students understand the future value of trades.

Technology |
- NMC need to provide technical training for the commercial market (current offerings focus on homes).
- Building science - more education for builder.
- Use technology to export coursework to other areas.

Demographic |
- A need for entry-level employees with work ethic.
- Provide a competent work force that knows the codes and has proper work ethic.
- Employment source - all trades.
- Job creation/manufacturing.

- Can NMC offer any former out-placement services for students/grads of certain training classes? If NMC can demonstrate a healthy/high percentage of job placement, it will attract students and additional local business support.
- NMC should continue to focus on their skill trade programs and continue to keep in contact with companies like ours.
- Why does NMC continue to back a "Builders License School"? "For less than $200 anyone can become a licensed builder." How does this help the community and the construction industry?
