Performance Ensembles

Several different performance ensembles are available to NMC students and community members.

  • NMC Chamber Singers - A mixed ensemble peforming group. More »
  • NMC Children's Choir - A non-profit organization that provides singing experiences for students in grades two through nine, and operates through NMC's Extended Educational Services division. More »
  • NMC Community Concert Band - Formed in 1973 and now under the direction of John Beery. The band includes more than 50 talented high school and college students learning alongside experienced amateur and professional musicians. More »
  • Grand Traverse Chorale - A mixed ensemble peforming group. More »
  • NMC Jazz Ensembles - Credit and non-credit students participate in the jazz ensembles, which include the Jazz Lab Band, Jazz Big Band and Vocal Jazz Ensemble. Mike Hunter directs. More »
