Enrollment observations for Fall 2003

Enrollment headcount is even with last year from 4,340 to 4,358 students. Credit and Contact Hours are +3% as projected with Tuition +12%. Cadillac headcount is -21%, Credit Hours -12% and Contact Hours –15%. New Admits are +8%, but the percentage of new admits registered is -4%. Prior Admits registered is + 8%, Retained Students from Spring 03 is +3%, and the Returning Students from semesters before the previous is – 11%. Contact Hours increased significantly for the Traverse City Campus in the following areas: Nursing +60%, Culinary Arts +58%, Engineering +41%, and Education +37%. Enrollment projection for Spring 04 is a +1% for headcount, contact, credit hours and +7% for tuition.
