Enrollment Observations for Fall 2004
Enrollment headcount is up 1.49 percent from last year going 4,358 to 4,423 students. Credit Hours are up 2.32 percent and Contact Hours are up 4.61 percent, as projected. Tuition is up 6 percent as of Report Day. The Cadillac campus closed.
Divisions with large increases are Physical Education up 22.8 percent, Bridge Program up 14 percent, and Business up 9.6 percent. Departments with large increases are Law Enforcement up 136 percent, Culinary Arts up 71.3 percent, ITD and ITH each up 60 percent, and Allied Health up 54.2 percent. Large increases were experienced in specific departments: Culinary Arts up by 71 percent, Allied Health up by 54 percent, and Maritime Engine up by 24 percent.
