Spring 2004 Enrollment Report for Northwestern Michigan College

Enrollment observations for Spring 2004

Enrollment headcount is down less than one percent from 4,221 to 4,191 students. Credit Hours are up 1.15 percent, and Contact Hours are up 2.71 percent as projected with Tuition up 11 percent. Cadillac headcount is down 18 percent, Credit Hours down 20 percent, and Contact Hours down 19 percent. New Admits are down 4.5 percent, and the percentage of new admits registered is down 6 percent. Prior admits registered is down 25 percent, and retained Students from Fall 03 is up 2 percent. The Returning Students from semesters before the previous is down 5 percent. Contact Hours increased significantly for Health Occupations, up 29.1 percent. Other disciplines with increases are Science and Math up 2.9 percent, Communications up 1.1 percent, and Social Science up 0.2 percent.
