Enrollment Observations for Summer 2005

The Report Day Summer 2005 Enrollment is +9% from 1,373 enrolled students for Summer 04 to 1,497 students enrolled this summer; Financial Aid Award Letters +12% from 3,210 to 3,589; Credit Hours +3% from 6963 to 7176 and Contact Hours +2% from 7372 to 7511. The Tuition Revenue Target for Summer 05 is $622,038 and the actual Tuition Revenue is $673,479.

Other Highlights:

• Guest Students have increased by 25% from 126 in 2004 to 157 this summer
• Retained Students from Spring 05 increased by 20% from 772 to 929
• Full Time Students have increased by 19% from 31 to 37 and Part Time taking 1-5 credits from 850 to 989 for +16%
• The Age Range of 26-30 increased by 28% from 161 to 206
• Other Counties increased by 26% from 168 to 212
• Grand Traverse County increased by 11% from 724 to 805
• Internet Inquiries increased by 199% from 80 to 239 and Admits on the net by 238% from 8 to 27
• Technical Discipline increased Contact Hours by 278% from 45 to 170
• Maritime Contact Hours increased by 46% from 195 to 284
• Aviation Contact Hours increased by 20% from 152 to 182
