Criminal Justice Program

Some students select a course of study that requires a four-year degree of which two years may be completed at Northwestern Michigan College through completion of the Associate in Science and Arts degree (ASA).

NMC offers a Criminal Justice program in collaboration with other colleges through the Michigan Community College Virtual Learning Collaborative. This program may involve agreements that lead to a four-year degree from another college/university. Bachelor Degree

Northwestern Michigan College and Madonna University have developed a 3 + 1 articulation agreement for a Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice. 86 to 89 credits will be taken at N.M.C. and 34 credits will be taken at Madonna University and the student will earn a Bachelors of Science degree with a major in Criminal Justice. Students will complete the program by taking classes on-line from Madonna or at Madonna's Gaylord extension office. See NMC's Transfer Guides for details.
