Student Employment

Student employees may work up to 20 hours a week during the semester, but some students work as little as five to 10 hours a week. You may work up to 40 hours a week during the summer semester and between semesters on an as-needed basis.

Areas of the college that hire student employees include: Facilities, Library, Media Services, Career & Employment Services, Financial Aid, Counseling, Mail Operations, Business Office, Admissions, Human Resources, among others. Student employees are chosen based on their qualifications, position requirements and the applicant's work availability.

Career and Employment Services maintains a listing of current available positions. Once you apply, you need to update your application each semester with your new class schedule. Failure to do so will result in your application being discarded.

There usually are far more applicants than positions available. We encourage you to apply as soon as you have your class schedule.

Specific Student Employment opportunities are listed below. Click on each to see job description.
