The residence hall rooms are configured in suites. Each suite consists of two rooms connected by a bathroom. Each room has two twin beds, two desks with chairs and a built-in closet/dresser.

Lodging Rates (Summer 2010)

Single rooms: $55 per night/per person, plus tax

Double rooms: $37.50 per night/per person, plus tax

Family Suite: $80 per night/per family, plus tax
A Family Suite is for parents and up to four children under the age of 18, legally defined as dependents of the adults.
Please note that there are four twin beds to a suite. Cots or additional beds are not available.

Linens are available by reservation for an additional fee and a $100 deposit is required. Linens include: bottom fitted sheet, top sheet, blanket, a wash cloth and a small towel.

We do not provide pillows.

Deposits

Room deposit: 20% of total room charge for group reservations

Linens: $100 (this will be applied toward account balance)

Keys: $100 ($15 charge per missing key; the remainder will be applied toward account balance)

MealS

Call (231) 995-1688 to make meal arrangements. Meals are provided by Sodexo Restaurant Services, but will be billed on a consolidated bill provided by Northwestern Michigan College.

Meals will be charged based on the confirmed participant number given by group organizers or actual guest count, whichever is greater. For example, if a meal plan is set up for 30 participants, meals will be charged for 30 participants, even if only 28 people eat. Sodexo Restaurant Services requires at least 72 hours notice for any meal count changes or cancellations. If 72 hours notice is not given, meals will be charged at the rate of the confirmed count.

All meals will be buffet style in an “all you can eat” format. Meals will consist of 2 entrees, 1 starch, 1 vegetable, deli bar, soup, salad bar, dessert and beverages. One of these entrees will be adult friendly at every meal. All groups will be required to purchase at least one meal per day during their stay. In the event that there are less than 25 people scheduled for meal services, the cafeteria will not open. Sack continental breakfasts/lunches/dinners will be available for pick up at a discounted per person rate.
