Computing Services at NMC
There are several different kinds of computer services for students at NMC.
All are subject to the NMC Computer and Network Acceptable Use Policy and the Software use guidelines.
- e-Learning - Provides resources & communications for online classes.
- Computing Lab Hours - Hours of operation
- Computing Lab Software - Available software in the computer labs
- On Campus Computer Access (The Novell Network)
- NMC Self-Service: Registration, Class Schedules, Student Information, Grades... (requires userid & login to access personal information)
- NMC ID - Information about you computer ID and password.
- Student E-mail Account Login - If you've not yet accessed your e-mail account, please review this page first.
- Novell NetStorage Login - Access your network files from off campus. Click here for instructions to access NetStorage
- Library Research Database - Access to Osterlin Library information
- Dell Computers for Student Purchase - This program offers a slight savings over standard Dell purchases. If you have questions about this program, call Systems & LAN Management at 995-1164.
In order to keep the computer and network operations at NMC running in the best manner possible, we have to perform maintenance to the equipment.
Maintenance nights are scheduled for Thursday nights beginning at 10:15 PM.
Typical maintenance nights run from 2-6 hours.
We will have the network system back in normal operation by 7:00 AM Friday morning.
