TRANSFER GUIDE
 
Criminal Justice Madonna University

Northwestern Michigan College and Madonna University have developed a 3 + 1 articulation agreement for a Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice. 86 to 89 credits will be taken at N.M.C. and 34 credits will be taken at Madonna University and the student will earn a Bachelors of Science degree with a major in Criminal Justice. Students will complete the program by taking classes on-line from Madonna or at Madonna's Gaylord extension office.
 
ADMISSION CRITERIA
  1. Students must attain a 2.0 or higher in each class to be used at Madonna.
  2. Students must complete an Associate in Science and Arts with the MACRAO agreement completed. A student could complete an Applied Associate degree in Law Enforcement, but must also complete the MACRAO agreement. The records off ice at N.M.C. will stamp the transcripts MACRAO (upon your request) when the appropriate coursework is completed; see a counselor for details.
  3. Students are provided two options to complete the A.S.A. degree: Law Enforcement or Criminal Justice emphasis.

  Important note: Madonna requires an upper level humanities class in literature taken from Madonna. You may take the class at Madonna, transfer the class back to Northwestern to count as part of the four additional credits listed above for MACRAO.
