The special meeting was called to order at 6:10 p.m. by Chair Michael
McManus.

APPROVAL OF AGENDA
On a motion by Elaine Wood, seconded by Cheryl Follette, the agenda was
approved.
PUBLIC INPUT
None
NEGOTIATION OF PRESIDENT'S CONTRACT
Cheryl Follette made a motion, seconded by Jack Stegenga, that the board
chair be authorized to begin negotiations for a contractual agreement
with Timothy J. Nelson for the position of President of Northwestern Michigan
College. Motion passed unanimously.
ADJOURNMENT
The special meeting adjourned at 7:20 p.m.
