5:30 p.m. TOUR OF FED EX BUILDING
The Board of Trustees were given a tour of the Fed Ex Building by Ed Bailey, Construction Projects Director. Michael McManus complimented Ed and Pat Brady, Construction Projects Manager, for their work with contractors on the remodeling.

CALL TO ORDER
The study session was called to order at 6:30 p.m. by Chair Michael McManus.

PUBLIC INPUT
There was no public input.

HOUSING UPDATE
John Tanner, Superintendent GLMA, provided background information about the Housing Team and its charge, which is to develop a recommendation to the board, and Debby Disch, Executive Director of Administrative Services, provided the "scope of the project" (kitchen code issues, cost, food plan, timeline, etc.). Following discussion, the board strongly suggested that the business plan/financing proposal be presented at the January study session with formal approval at the January regular board meeting in order to expedite the work. No decisions were made or actions taken.

BUDGET UPDATE
A budget reduction plan was discussed; the budget will be one of the topics of the December 3 study session. No decisions were made or actions taken.

PROPERTIES
Tim Nelson provided information on NMC properties, which included the future use of the properties, annual operating costs, suitability for development, market value, zoning, restrictions, partnerships, purposes, etc. No decisions were made or actions taken.

PRESIDENT'S EVALUATION STATUS
Tim Nelson gave a brief update on the president's evaluation process. No decisions were made or actions taken.
