SPECIAL MEETING
CALL TO ORDER
Chair Cheryl Follette called the special meeting to order at 7:00 a.m.

ROLL CALL
Trustees present:		Ross Childs, Cheryl Follette, William Janis, Ted Mattis, Elaine Wood
Trustees absent:		Walter Hooper, Jack Stegenga
Also present:		Karen Anderson, Marguerite Cotto, Debby Disch, Gene Jenneman, Craig Mulder, Cathy Muma, Tim Nelson, Karen Sabin, Stephen Siciliano, Terry Sievert, Fred Tank, John Tanner

APPROVAL OF AGENDA
The agenda was approved on a motion by Elaine Wood, seconded by William Janis.

PUBLIC INPUT
None

2003-2004 TUITION AND FEES
Elaine Wood made a motion, seconded by Ross Childs, to approve a 9% increase in tuition and fees beginning Fall semester 2003 as follows:

$63.20 (In-district); $110.10 (In-state); and $137.35 (Out of State)
General fees to $9.50 per contact hour

Fees for Student Health Services are to be separated from the general fee and charged on a per student basis, $15.70 per semester for students taking 6 or more contact hours, and that fees for application ($15.00 one time), transcript ($2.00), and graduation ($5.00) remain at the 2002-2003 rate. Motion passed.

2003-2004 HOUSING RATE
Ross Childs made a motion, seconded by William Janis, to approve increasing residence hall rates beginning Fall semester 2003 as follows:

$5,700 (double for new students) and $5,540 (double for returning students)
$7,490 (single for new students) and $7,330 (single for returning students)
$530 per month for 2 bedroom apartment
$405 per month for 1 bedroom apartment

Motion passed.
