Services for Students Needing Support
Support Services Mission....The Office of Support Services (OSS) contributes to a positive learning environment for students and ensures equal access to education so that students with disabilities can freely and actively participate in college learning. OSS also promotes community awareness of the needs and potential of individuals with disabilities. Northwestern Michigan College offers a wide range of services for students that have disabilities and/or need accommodations in order to achieve their academic goals. The Office for Support Services is located in the back of the main floor of the Osterlin Library. Office hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday. Online students needing support services who are not able to meet during regular office hours can contact our office to set up an appointment.
