B.S. in Elementary EducationThis degree is designed for those
who are interested in teaching at the Elementary school level. Successful
completion of this program will result in recommendation for Elementary
certification with a Child Development minor (ZA endorsement by taking
certification test), a Science major, Reading minor, and an optional
Child Development minor. This degree and certification allows one to
teach K-5 all subjects, K-6 self-contained classrooms, K-8 reading,
Language Arts, and Science. The ZA endorsement is highly sought after
for someone wanting to teach Pre-K through grade 3.
