Driver Education Certificate

This is the only Driver Education Certificate Program offered in northwest Michigan. You can combine your experience with a set of four courses from CMU to get the skills you need to become an approved driver education instructor. Apply if you meet these criteria: Possess a valid driver’s license, 21 years of age, personal driving record with no more than 6 points for traffic convictions during two years prior to application as approval for a driver education instructor. If you wish to teach in the public school system, you must have a valid teaching certificate. Other students may work for private companies.
