M.S. in Career and Technical Education

This program is structured to enable occupational instructors in allied health, business, industrial and technical education at secondary and post secondary levels; personnel in business and industrial training and development; or personnel in related fields to develop and/or improve their occupational competency and instructional skills. The program emphasizes professional development, scholarship, and technical specialty updating of career and technical instructors and enable candidates to meet continuing teacher certification and administrative requirements when appropriate. Unique to the program are provisions for advanced skill development and technical updating for candidates in their occupational subject matter through the use of field experiences and advanced course work.
