B.S. in NursingThe Bachelor of Science in Nursing completion program is designed for working registered nurses who wish to obtain a BSN from The University of Michigan without leaving the northwestern Michigan area. This part time program recognizes the RN's unique abilities and needs. Taking advantage of prior education and clinical experience, the RN earns credit by examination and transfers. New studies sharpen critical thinking skills, provide the conceptual and theory base necessary to good decision making, introduce nursing research, and strengthen the student's liberal arts background. The U of M Bachelor of Science in Nursing prepares the student for leadership roles in nursing and to respond confidently to tomorrow's health care needs.
