Multi-disciplinary in nature, SPADA provides a balanced orientation to theory and practice, considers a breadth of contemporary issues, and emphasizes all methods for dealing with the problems of substance abuse. This 18 semester hour program addresses varied aspects of service delivery such as continuum and network of care, prevention, assessment, treatment, and clinical supervision. The certificate can be earned as an independent certificate or can be used to supplement graduate education in related fields.
