I’m not really sure how WPP is affecting my life-long experience. I certainly learned a great deal about journalism. Marilyn and Jill were great advisers because they were great teachers. Mostly, though, the time I spent on WPP was just so much fun. I have some pretty fabulous memories of that time. I think we were pretty lucky to not only have such a good crew but also to get our office in the basement of the science building!
I’ve been married to Tony for almost 8 years. We have two
daughters: Emily, 6; and Maggie, 3. We are expecting our third child this fall. I am not working outside of the home, although occasionally I still do some freelance writing. Mostly I am active in Maggie’s preschool and Emily’s elementary school.

White Pine Press helped me improve my writing and organizational skills for my career as an attorney.
I’m at attorney for the State of Michigan, currently serving as a law clerk to a State Supreme Court justice. I graduated from NMC in 1995, the University of Michigan in 1997, and Michigan State University-Detroit College of Law in 2000. I live in East Lansing

Working as a team member got me more oriented for the “real” world. I was a stay-at-home mom for 12 years and depended only on myself.
I finished my four-year degree in education. Yup! I’m certified to teach graphic arts. My four-year-old girl (while working on WPP) has now grown 10 years. She is 14 now and my two older children have graduated high school. I am currently in Traverse City as a paraprofessional for the Visual Imaging class at TBA Career Tech Center.
