Welcome to the Financial Aid Office

The Financial Aid office at Northwestern Michigan College (NMC) believes that paying for college is a shared responsibility among the student, his or her family and aid offered to the student from the college administered financial aid programs.

It is our goal to work with you to achieve the best financial aid package, which will support your educational goals. It is important that you apply early and as always, we will be glad to help you with the application process.

Important Information!

Financial Aid refunds should be available beginning February 27th, 2009. If you have not received your refund by February 27th and have completed all requirements for disbursement, please contact the NMC Cashier’s Office at (231) 995.1085.
If you would like to know the status of your financial aid, please check NMC Self-Service before contacting our office. Thank you for your understanding.
Please remember to have picture identification available when inquiring in person at the Financial Aid Office.
